My job is to help all clients achieve their business goals whilst having an understanding of their particular needs and industry. I do this by tailoring an accounts package to suit my clients’ individual needs. Looking after my clients’ accounts enables them to focus on what really matters; building their successful business and making a good profit.

My Journey

Accounts Assistant

In 2006 Daniel started his career in accounting. He enrolled with a local college on their AAT course and found a job as an Accounts Assistant for an established rail travel company. It was essential to Daniel that he have a job within accounting whilst studying so that the two would go hand in hand and rather only learn the theory, he gained hands on experience as well. It was here where Daniel learned the basics of What was involved withing an accounting department and learned how to use recognised accounting software such as Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. Apart from being an Accounts Assistant here, Daniel also studied French for 1 year (in his lunchtime) and was in charge of the many admin interns that came to the company. Daniel left his Accounts Assistant role in 2009.

Management Accountant

Daniel went from an Accounts Assistant straight into the role of Management Accountant for a well known cosmetic surgery based in Harley Street. During this time Daniel gained an understanding of how the business was run on the accounting side of things from the ground up. Daniel had hands on training of the invoicing software and was key in training clinic managers at other sites on how to use the software. Stock takes were a big part of Daniel’s monthly activities as well as general costings. Reporting to the Finance Director, Daniel eventually filled these shoes when the FD left. For 4 months, Daniel was responsible for reporting to the MD and the board of investors on all things financial. Daniel left his Management Accountant role in 2011.

After leaving the cosmetic surgery, Daniel took on a 6 month contract to be the Finance Manager for a recruitment agency based on The Strand. During his time here, Daniel put in place a budget and cashflow system which greatly helped to improve the company’s functionality. The contract ended at the end of 2011.

After the contract had ended in 2011 as a Finance Manager, Daniel was lucky enough to gain his first private client. From this one client and via word of mouth and interaction via Twitter Daniel was able to grow the company to what it is today. Staying true to his values, Daniel provides all clients with an extremely friendly, approachable and personable service.
